After her degree in economics from Université Paris IX-Dauphine, with a major in sustainable strategies in utilities, Julie joined Utopies in 1999. Overv the years, she grew as an expert in various sectors such as retail and consumer goods, phamaceuticals, utilities and banking, among others. Today she is a Manager and she works on non financial reporting, strategic planning, stakeholder consultation, training, executive committee moderating. She also gave lectures in the "Sustainable development Master" at Université Paris IX-Dauphine .

Engineer in agricultural science, Chloé first worked as a environment and sustainability consultant for Enviro2Band Gaudriot. She is working at Utopies since 2004 and she has gained solid skills in non financial reporting (KPIs) and strategic planning.

Stanislas graduated from ESC Reims business school. Today he is Utopies' Executive Directior. After 8 years in the company, he has gained significant experience in the following areas: strategic planning at top management level, facilitation of stakeholder engagement and partnerships, non-financial reporting, « green » marketing and labeling, economic footprint analysis, carbon footprint for financial services. He carried out several research projects on emerging issues: "Talk the walk, Advancing sustainable lifestyles through marketing and communications" (Utopies/ PNUE / UN Global Compact, 2005) on green marketing, Critical Friends, the emerging role of stakeholder panels in corporate governance, reporting and assurance" (Utopies/AccountAbility) on the the efficiency of stakeholder panels.

 | ELISABETH LAVILLE, Founder & Director
Elisabeth Laville founded Utopies in 1993, consultancy specialized on sustainable development that is now acknowledged as "the pioneering consultancy for sustainable business strategies" (Enjeux-Les Echos Magazine, Nov. 01). She helped various organizations to implement sustainable strategies ranging from pionnering ones (Ben&Jerry's and The Body Shop) to major corporate groups such as Lafarge, l'Oréal (see list of clients). She promoted partenships with UNEP and the Global Compact. To encourage best practice sharing she initiated working groups on emrging issues like sustainable construction (www.constructiondurable.com) and responsible communication (www.communicationresponsable.com). Her experience has brought her to committ to other organizations : Unis-Cité (promoting civil service), C2DS (Committee for sustainability in health infrastructures), Nature&Découverte (retail) as a board member, but also Biomimicry Europa Association, as a founding member. She also contributes to the network Consodurable (consodurable.org) and BT's stakeholder panel. She is the author of the best seller "L'Entreprise verte" (ed. Village Mondial) which was awarded the Synapsis Prize for best business book in 2002. She is also very active when it comes to awareness-raising towards the general pulic through the structure that she co-founded with Marie Balmain "Graines de changement". The books "Achetons responsable" (ed. Seuil), "Un régime pour la planète" (ed. Village Mondial) and the website www.mescoursespourlaplanete.com are the result of their continous efforts and enthousiasm.

 | CÉDRIC LE FORESTIER, Manager & Sustainable construction
After a degree from IPAG business school, Cédric joined Utopies in April 2004. He participated in the launch of the working group on sustainable construction in 2004 an d is now the lead of this initiative. This group aims at raising awareness among all the actors of the construction business value chain (contractors, architects, construction material producers/suppliers, insurers, etc.) about sustainable construction and spreading best practices through monthly workshops, fieldtrips, etc. ACCOR, BNP/Paribas, Lafarge, Proxiserve, Bouygues Construction, Foyers de Seine et Marne, Schneider Electric, ADP, Gaz de France, Pierre&Vacances, Batigère and SNCF are among the members. The collaboration of the members through the facilitation of Utopies leads Cédric to carry out strategic planning projects in this field.

Victor graduated from EM Lyon (Masters in management). He then worked for different companies like Lamy Environnement where he carried out technical studies and consulting projects, KPMG Barcelona where he worked as an auditor, and CIDR where he worked on local economical development planing in Benin. At Utopies, where he works since September 2007, he is he editor of Utopies weekly news service that provides useful information on best practices in sustainability. As a consultant, he is qualified for projects dealing with Audit, strategic planning, SME implementation and non financial reporting.

 | ANNABELLE RICHARD, Junior consultant
Before she joined Utopies in 2007, Annabelle graduated from a French engineering school (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier) with a major in environmental science. She completed her education in Stockholm where she followed a Master of Sc in environmental engineering and sustainable infrastructure. She was then involved in research projects on bioethanol (Netherlands) and eco-conception for Ademe (French environmental regulation body). Since she arrived at Utopies she is working on responsible marketing and she is involved in the working group on sustainable construction.

 | VÉRONIQUE CAILLIAU, Consultant
She graduated from Sciences Po Paris and completed her education with a Master in international project management at ESCP-EAP. She first worked for the sustainable development department at BNP Paribas where she dealt with communication towards stakeholders. Since she joined Utopies early 2007, she is particularly focused on green marketing and responsible labeling.

 | MARIE-FRANCE CORRE, Associated expert
Marie-France graduated as engineer in industrial design, material and technological innovations. She started working as product designer before joining the French major consumer organisation, UFC-Que Choisir, as Research & Testing Director. She represented UFC-Que Choisir and the European consumer organisation BEUC at various technical and scientific working groups in the European Commission, national agencies (eg Commission de cosmétologie in the French Drug Agency, Observatoire de la Qualité de l?Air, etc), standardisation committees, Think tanks ? Marie-France was also a member of the management committee of International Consumer Research and Testing (ICRT), a federation of consumers organisations worldwide. She was an active member of the Corporate and Social Responsibility working group of this organisation until 2006 : she coordinated international projects in the fields of corporate social responsibility (eg Manufacturing conditions in the toy sector in China), environment (eg Interactive project on indoor air pollution), ethical and fair trade, sustainable development, disabilities. She also has an experience of teaching with lectures on products design and products evaluation at Université de Technologie de Compiègne between 1992 and 2006 (undergraduate and graduate degrees).
She is now a freelance consultant in environment and sustainable design/consumption. Her interest areas include secondary effects of consumption at social, environmental and health levels, responsible marketing as well as intercultural communication.

Florence joined Utopies in 2007 and is Elisabeth Laville's personal assistant. She also taking care of the team and making sure that the working environment matches the values of the company (teambuilding, green purchasing, etc.). Engineer in aeronautics, Jean-Luc earned significant experience working for different companies as project manager for Ernst&Young, CRM project manager & sustainable development project coordinator for BIC and he co-founded SymbioseS, a consulting company speacialized in sustainable development.
